WHAT THE HELL IS LOVE ANYWAYS?
Oh yeah, it's a biochemical reaction to another member of the opposite sex usually.
It's an incredibly strong human process of attachment that is meant to join a couple to procreate.
It's what gives us that separation from reptiles supposedly. Emotions, yea? It's also a Pandora's Box, to put it freaking mildly.
What gives you the right to experience it??? Why did evolution include it. Is there something about it that we're missing? Well, that's obvious. Whole planet is missing a lot of it. Ok, so there is a biological response that every human has a capacity to unleash on another person.
When should we unleash it? Is it voluntary? Involuntary? It's one of the emotions that's difficult to explain properly when under it's influence.
Is this an equivalent to an emotional ring toss in the carnival of life? Seems to be doesn't it?
It looks to be wise to limit ones exposure to the carnival games available.
My odyssey began 21 years ago. I remember her name, Anna.
That didn't start or end well. Nothing tragic, Nothing special either. It was the moments that I dipped my toes into the well of love and relation. I didn't lose much of myself nor did she. We were very young and I took the low hanging fruit. In essence so did Anna. This attraction was visceral and primitive, a small foray into the wild so to speak. There weren't any casualties from this foray. No one lost an eye.
It was a start, somewhere on the map of a grand desert where the footprints started. The map I traveled was completely foreign, no signs pointing North, West, or any sense of direction. Well there was one vague point on the map that was barely marked. It looked faded with feint lettering , it said LOVE and had a small outline of a star etched on it.
The next connection on the timeline that would be of consequence is Vanessa. This crossing of timelines would be the start of a long and tragic drama. The sad ending would be part of an ancient tome of misery that is as old as time. The inevitable crushing drama drowning all the participants. All are casualties in this story of mishaps and heart break. All are lost in the wake of destruction.
Here on the map, life gave two constants - ambiguity and chance. A random chance meeting, that lasted 16 years and created two hapless children. As they say in war, it's the civilian casualties that tear the heart.
The harsh reality of this environment is ever present. A killing desert that swallows all the unprepared travelers through its belly.
Our society is built on many false pretenses. One right on top of another, waiting for the ground to shake and crush its occupants. What happened to the nuts and bolts of life? Has those lessons been hidden from view to ensure future wakes of destruction? Does society railroad everyone to someone else's idea of destiny?
---What idea am I developing---
I've seen the tragic subtle conditioning upon our society. And of course its depressing fallout swept under the rug, over and over again, generation after generation, life after life.
And contrary to popular belief, there are sometimes crystal balls available to us during this journey of life.
If you look at the tragic tale of King Arthur and his Camelot, you'll draw parallels days on end to the far horizon.
And what about True Love????
You should stay away from fleeting love whenever possible. This form of false love is very misleading and mingles couples to disastrous results. It is the love that is similar to a buzz at 2 am. The morning after, reality sets in , the
